SFO: Meal 1: Taqueria El Sol

Taqueria El Sol tasted like it looks: Mexican. I am no food critic, but I like my Mexican food, and this filled that gap in my day.


  • Prawn Burrito
    Would order again. Stuffed with guacamole and sour cream, the fried prawn burrito tasted wonderful.
  • Horchata
    Not the best I have tasted, but probably in the top 5. Has a bit of an extra creamy after taste.

I would go here again, but would advise against it for anyone with a gluten sensitivity. They have corn shells, as does any real Mexican place, but do not speak English and so it is near impossible to communicate this food sensitivity/requirement.
